Mileage Allowance

Each contract is quoted with a mileage allowance and our standard contract mileage allowances are as shown below. Excess mileage is charged at £0.15p + VAT per mile, i.e. an extra 5000 miles per annum will cost £14.40 per week / £62.50 per calendar month on your rental payment.

Insurance

The vehicle MUST have fully comprehensive insurance and you have to provide us with a valid insurance certificate. If you are looking for an Insurance package, we can assist you.

To Book A Car

After completing an application form, we will process a credit check and contact you to take a booking fee normally a month’s rental charge. We do not charge an admin fee. Once we are in receipt of your booking fee, we will order your vehicle and arrange a suitable delivery (subject to T&Cs) The first monthly payment is required upon collection/delivery of your new car or 5 days prior to delivery. A direct debit will be arranged for us to receive your subsequent monthly payments.

FAQ’S

Whilst Drive Car Hire provide the maintenance cover, it is your responsibility to arrange your servicing and maintenance bookings. Contract Hire Vehicles are also available as non-maintained and you will be responsible for arranging, booking, and paying for all services and repairs, in line with manufacturer requirements. Any breakdown outside of the manufacturer scheme is your own responsibility and will be at your own cost.

Drive Car Hire maintenance packages; include the cost of all repairs and maintenance, providing the vehicle is taken to an approved garage. We pay for all scheduled maintenance and servicing, excluding costs of accidental damage, or damage caused by negligence or misuse, which will be payable at your own cost and recharged back to you.
